With the classic peeler you can peel extremely thin thanks to the narrow gap in the sharply ground blades. It is suitable for peeling potatoes and cucumbers, but also rhubarb and apples, among others. The food is removed from the shell sparingly so that as much of the food itself as possible is preserved.
